Strictly
speaking this is not part of Saddle Creek Park, but you can get access to
this trail, at the very top of the park near the Nature Trail.
Tenoroc Fish Management Area is right next to Saddle Creek Park and is
very expansive and is even bigger than Saddle Creek. They also
charge an entrance fee and to that point there is a ticket purchasing unit
right at the trail head. It is not manned and it is up to each hiker
to be honest and pay their fee. The amount is $3 per person, so it
should be affordable to everyone.
Below is the overall view of the main trail around the lake. There is another trail to the north not shown here. There are two close-up views of the trail available with some photography to really give you a good idea of what the trail looks like. Just click on the top or bottom half of the trail to get a more detailed view. As you can see it is a circular hike and it is about 1.2 miles in length and will take the average hiker about 45 minutes to complete. There is plenty of wildlife present and if you take your dog it is probably best to keep him/her on a leash unless they have good off lead training.
