Lake
Wales is one of the bigger towns in Polk County and funnily enough it has
been built around a large lake right in the center called Lake
Wales. It is also the town that is built on the most hills in
central Florida, right on what is called the Lake Wales Ridge. There
is a trail pretty much all round the lake and makes for a nice afternoon
hike, with lots of nice lakeside views. .
