As you can see some of the trails are a bit sandy, this doesn't make for good walking, so I don't blame folks as much for not coming to these preserves, but it's not as bad as Catfish Creek.

This gives you an idea of how big this place is, the trails go on for ever.

You can tell why they used to come down here to cut wood for all the sailing ships they were building up north, you don't get much straighter pines.

Of course, it wouldn't be a Florida preserve or park with some Palmetto scrublands.
