Angus really enjoyed his visit to the kids fishing competition they had going at Tenoroc Fish Management Area this last Saturday.  He is such an attention magnet and he really loves kids he could have sat there all day and let them pet him.  The new friends he made seemed to enjoy his company too.

This was haircut weekend for the boys, Cooper got his done professionally at Ed's Pet Motel in Winter Haven, and Gizzy got his done in the kitchen at home by me.  They both got really short shaved haircuts cos of the weather starting to heat up for the summer now.  Better to be a bit cooler and still get out on the trails than have the politically correct grooming and have to stay home.

This last weekend we visited Lake Louisa State Park.  It had been a while since we had been there and hiked three or four trails that we had never been down before.  It was nice to do some unexpected exploring there.  Seems like they had been doing a lot of work on the trails and some of them were probably quite new.  Here we have the boyz taking a wee break in between trails.

It was well worth the going down to Myakka River State Park this last weekend.  The weather was beautiful and Angus and Cooper had a great time.  Here they are hanging out with a couple of fellow trail hikers.  You truly do meet the best people in the parks.
