Crooked Lake Sandhill

This preserve is probably the smallest of the places we go to at 25 acres. It has some unique terrain and wildlife and is certainly worth going to see. Just walking up and down hills is not common. The good thing is that it is not far from Crooked Lake Prairie nor Tiger Creek, so you can still have a day out, but just combine hiking here with a visit to the other parks.

This is right at the entrance to the preserve. You get a really good view of Crooked Lake over the orange groves. Sandhill's are useful.
