This broke my heart and still does, he pushed past me at the front door to chase a cat and the cat ran across the street, the car smacked him good on the hip and kept going. He's got a decent sized plate holding his pelvis together and his hip is all wired up. Poor wee boy. He got the top treatment from the best specialists in the state and at home I took some time off work to make sure he recovered, just fine. I told everyone he was "re-Cooperating" at home.
You can see the plate that's pinned to his pelvic bone and also the pins going down into his leg with the wires at the top to keep it in place. All of this is going to be permanent and it looks like everything is healing just fine.
