Alva
Glen is in the Ochil Hills which are just north of Falkirk across the
River Forth. The area is called Clackmannanshire and the local
council has done a great job of making it very accessible to the
public. There are some good trails that take you right to the top of
the hills.
There are a couple of really nice waterfalls up the glen this is the
first one you see when going up. This is the next one you see when going up the main trail, you
certainly don't see a lot of these natural wonders in Florida. This is what the trail looks like when you are getting out of the deep
glen. Once you get up the hillside then you can see right
across the Forth Valley. Cooper just sat here and looked out across
the vista for ages, it was so obvious that this was the very first hill he
had climbed and had never seen this type of view before.
